Kurinjipadi was famous for its hand loom products. The hand loom lungies are very famous in many countries like, Singapore, Malaysia, Srilanka and Gulf countries. It is strategically located (close to Chidambaram, Cuddalore, Panruti, Neyveli and virudachalam. Kurinjipadi has famous temples for Putthu Mariyamman, Eswaran, Perumal, Subburayar and many Vinayaga temples such as Anandha vinayagar and Kurinji vinayagar. The dairy products and crops from this region are very good quality. There are many well educated people from this town. Almost every household has some one with a diploma or degree. There are many schools like Government Higher secondary school, S.K.Velayutham Higher Secondary School, S.K.V.T Matriculation school, St. Paul Matriculation Higher Secondary school etc.. There is One college, named as Thiruvalluvar college of Arts and Science.
